Christopher Abraham was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, where his passion for the law first took shape as a student in the Northeast Magnet High School Law Magnet Program. After graduating high school, he took the next step toward his goal of becoming a lawyer by graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Howard University in Washington D.C. While at Howard University, he was a leading member of the competition Mock Trial Team.

After completing his undergraduate education Christopher returned home, where he successfully pursued and received his Juris Doctorate (Law Degree) from the Washburn University School of Law in Wichita, Kansas.While in law school, Christopher served as the Research Assistant to the Dean of the Law School, excelled in trial and appellate advocacy, and successfully participated as a “Student Attorney” in the Washburn Law Clinic, where here presented indigent clients in immigration and family law matters.

After passing the bar exam Christopher began his legal career at the Missouri State Public Defender where he passionately advocated for individuals facing criminal charges and developed a steadfast dedication for fighting for those without a voice. He went on to expand his experience to other areas of law to include estate planning, landlord-tenant defense, and family law at two other smaller boutique private law firms. Before joining the Law Offices of Roderick C. White, he was selected to serve a one-year term as the law clerk in the 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County, Juvenile Division, where he assisted the Court in adjudicating child abuse and neglect, juvenile delinquency and adoption matters.  Across each role, Christopher demonstrated a high level of compassion and empathy for individuals and families impacted by the justice system.

Because Christopher is licensed to practice law by both the Supreme Courts of Missouri and Kansas, he is eligible to practice in all state courts throughout both great states. Here at The Law Offices of Roderick C. White, Christopher’s practice focuses on criminal defense, passionately pursuing compensation for accident/injury victims, and family law. Away from the courtroom, he can be found expressing his love for music on the saxophone or serving faithfully on the Ministerial Staff and in Music Department at his church.
