Moath Almasri (IL)

Attorney

Moath Almasri is a Chicago native and the proud son of Jordanian immigrants, happily back home after completing his higher education in Memphis, Tennessee, where he first earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Memphis. While an undergraduate studying Criminal Justice and Criminology, Moath developed a strong academic foundation in legal systems, criminal procedure, and analytical reasoning. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate (Law Degree) at the University of Memphis School of Law, where he further developed and refined his passion for the law, legal research and writing, and his individual path to help his community. While in law school Moath served as Vice-President of the Muslim Student Association.

During his second year of law school, Moath served as a legal intern at Regional One Health, Memphis’s largest trauma center, where he supported the in-house counsel team with matters involving contract review and disputes, premises liability, risk management, and regulatory compliance. That same summer, he also worked as a law clerk for a Memphis-based family law firm, where he assisted the lead family law attorney with legal research, drafting pleadings, and developing case strategy.
